Before beginning your coaching journey, all new athletes complete a 40-minute Initial Biomechanical Running Analysis.

This session includes a detailed analysis of your current running technique, using short, controlled runs on tarmac walkways (no more than 350m at a time). Please arrive dressed to run.

Prior to this session you will have completed an easy to fill in athlete profile form, allowing me to fully understand your lifestyle, time constraints, training history, racing experience, current fitness, and performance goals.

Using these insights, I will outline—clearly and precisely—how I can support your development and recommend the most effective next steps to help you achieve your goals, beyond the ordinary.

ADVANCED STRATEGIES OF RUNNING 8 WEEK COURSE

This 8 week course is loaded with everything you need to know to run faster for longer. 

By the end of the course you will have learnt and began to apply the advanced strategies of running into your daily routine.

You will learn how to run more efficiently & reduce risk of injury.

We will look at your:

  • Running Form - And correct it where necessary

  • Running PaceYou’ll learn how pacing changes with distance and how to identify and control your own pacing

You will learn:

  • The importance of and how to warm up & cool down correctly for different running paces - with handouts to take home 

  • About gait analysis - and have the opportunity to have your running gait analysed

  • The importance of targeted strength & conditioning and nutrition & hydration - in aiding performance and recovery

⚠️ These elements are vital to any effective and sustainable running programme, which are often overlooked and why so many runners either plateau or get recurring injuries!

 

The running programme you'll receive is designed to be completed in your own time 5 - 6 times per week, allowing you to:

  • Practise your running form and pacing

  • Incorporate the warming up & cooling down exercises you will have learnt

Note with this Tier 2 package: It is advised to check-in every now and then to have at least your running form analysed and your implementation of performing the warm up drills . There is no point practising an incorrect technique over and over again as this will only hinder your performance and could lead to a running related injury. You can do this via my pay-as-you-go hourly PERFORMANCE CONSULTING: In-Person or Remotely.


Why This Course Works
